1969 NC State Convocation

This source is a transcript of the speech given by NC State Chancellor John Caldwell at the university's March 1969 convocation. The content of the speech indicates just how much the university was affected by the revolutionary environment outside its walls in the rest of the country. Caldwell chastised the violent and chaotic student militants and asked that the students think and act maturely and work with the university administration to work towards solving any problems they might have.
