Title
Recent Events Concerning the Workers
Description
The Physical Plant employees received support from a number of campus groups during the protests in the spring of 1969. One of the students groups that showed significant support simply called themselves "The Group." They were prodimently white students who partnered with the Society of Afro-American Culture to organize campus demonstrations and produce printed materials to raise awareness of the employees' grievances with university administration. They also did their own investigative reporting on the dispute, as evidenced in this report on the situation.
