Questions to Consider

In order to gain a more extensive view of the collection and formulate your own argument regarding volunteerism amongst State's Mates, explore the following inquiries.  For each question, you must consult The Goodwife Diploma primary source collection.  This will allow you to draw upon a wide variety of sources and gain the experience of navigating a digital archive.

1.  Begin by searching the collection for the State's Mates annual reports and reading over them. What kinds of other service projects did State's Mates undertake? How do these other projects compliment or challenge the arguments presented in this exhibit?

2.  Begin by searching the collection for State's Mates yearbook layouts in The Agromeck. How did the group choose to represent themselves with the inclusion of these images? Are civic activities included?
