Memorandum Concerning the Jolly Knave Demonstration

Title

Memorandum Concerning the Jolly Knave Demonstration

Description

In this memorandum, an unnamed member of the Good Neighbor Council reports to the council after he/she investigated a claim of discrimination at popular Hillsborough Street student hangout, the Jolly Knave. The council member concludes that the restaurant is not discriminatory--an opinion contradicted in numerous other accounts and Technician articles--but that there is tension between the students and the owners as a result of a protest following the allegations of discrimination.
