Chancellor John T. Caldwell to Brick Miller, Bill Roberts and Associates
Description

I understand your plan to lead a group to my home this evening to present me with questions concerning certain non-academic employees of the University.
You are already informed that this whole matter has been introduced into legal channels and that the university has no further statements to make on this subject during this legal course.
You should know that the Chancellor's Residence is the home of my family. I am not obligated to offer the hospitality of my home and grounds for the purposes you have in mind and request that you respect this perfectly proper position. I am always happy to see delegations of students on any legitimate matter by appointment in my office for a reasonable time.
You are asked not to impose upon the privacy of my home and family.
Please understand that I mean what I have said and I trust you will have the good judgment and good manners not to make yourselves guilty of trespassing.
