"We Have to Cope"

Title

"We Have to Cope"

Description

This in-work copy of Chancellor Caldwell's speech outlined the two main groups in American society pushing for change during the 1960s: younger African-Americans and youthful activists. When speaking of the second group, Caldwell put forth the idea that not all the activists said was incorrect and that members of "The Establishment" needed to listen to younger generations in order to help shape the world into a better place.
