Black Students Boycott Good Neighbor Council

Title

Black Students Boycott Good Neighbor Council

Description

The Good Neighbor Council was created by Chancellor Caldwell to actively fight against racial discrimination in the campus community. Caldwell intended the council to be made up of NCSU students and faculty. However, many students grew tired of the council's meetings and desired action. Barger's letter reveals that the black student body thought the Good Neighbor Council was largely ineffective.
