Title
Female Enrollment in the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Description
This page is an excerpt from the School of Agriculture and Life Science's 1975 Annual Report. The faculty focused on the increased presence of women in the undergraduate, graduate, and Agricultural Institute programs. Table I illustrates the amount of female students in SALS. Undergraduate women rose from 435 to 1,031; graduate women rose from 552 to 685; and Ag Institute women rose from 2 to 60. From this chart we see that women were more interested in a Bachelors in agriculture versus an Associates Degree.
Table II tabulated the number of women in each area of study within SALS.
